Isabella Rossellini

Alongside a successful modeling career she has acted in several films and television series. Her most famous appearances are probably as a night club singer in David Lynch’s Blue Velvet and in the black comedy Death Becomes Her.

Isabella Rossellini is currently promoting a series of short film produced for mobile phones. Green Porno is a series of very short films conceived, written, co-directed by and featuring Isabella Rossellini about the sex life of bugs, insects and various creatures.

Aryan Kaganof
Film Director and Artist, South Africa

South African filmmaker, novelist, poet and artist. In 2007 he directed SMS Sugarman - the worlds’ first full length feature film shot entirely on cell phone cameras. In this film Kaganof writes, directs and plays the leading role of the Johannesburg pimp, Sugarman.

His work as a director includes the documentary Western 4.33 from 2002 which won Best Documentary at 1st Islands & Africa Film Festival and was selected for the Official Selection Berlinale Forum.

His substantial body of work also includes photography, video, music, poetry and has been exhibited in galleries in Africa and Europe. Kaganof also works as a university lecturer in film theory and filmmaking.


Søren Hyldgaard
Film Composer, Denmark

Søren Hyldgaard is one of Denmark’s most successful film composers. Hyldgaard has composed music to numerous Danish feature films and television projects and has received numerous award nominations, winning the “Robert” of The Danish Film Academy for his romantic comedy score for the Danish box office hit ‘Den Eneste Ene’ (The One and Only) by director Susanne Bier.

More recent film scoring projects include the American feature film ‘Red’, a tense drama labelled a ‘Neo Western’ and starring Brian Cox and Tom Sizemore.

Alongside the musical compositions Søren Hyldgaard is also an experienced culture journalist.

Jukka-Pekka Laakso was appointed in 2004 as the chairman of the National Council for Cinema of Finland and this position brings him also a seat at the National Council for the Arts. Jukka-Pekka Laakso is also the member of the European Film Academy.
